Veterinary Home Care Services
Mount Carmel Animal Hospital provides Home Care Services by both doctors and technicians. In some cases receiving veterinary care in your home is more comfortable and convenient for you and your pet. Some pets don’t travel well or experience excessive anxiety around other animals or away from home. Some pet owners have a difficult time transporting their pets due to mobility issues or other health concerns.
Our Home Care Services range from wellness exams to quality-of-life services. Technician services include toenail trims, injections, fluid administration, blood draws, hospice and end-of-life care.
We are also able to transport pets for in-clinic services including exams, surgeries and diagnostics such as radiographs, ultrasounds and lab work. If your pet is able to travel, but you are unable to drive him/her yourself, Mount Carmel Animal Hospital also offers pick-up and drop-off services.
